I have recently purchased a 58 plate Audi S3 (facelift) and after trying to resolve the well documented glove box issue I came across the below pictured plug. It isn't attached to anything and looks to be a stock part. There is no where on the glovebox for it to connect to either.
Car has Ipod connectivity, RNS-E (fitted afterwards I believe) and Bluetooth and these work as you would expect, so am at a loss as to what it is without pulling half the dashboard apart to see where the rabbit hole goes.
