Planning on getting more vinyl fitted tomorrow! ☺

That looks ****** cool mate, I'm spraying mine with plastidip this weekend.
Yeah man I'm quite impressed myself.

If the vinyl doesn't hold out on the boot trim what you are going to do is my next option!

One full side of chrome window trim has been wrapped! Will get better outdoor pics ASAP. Although I swear the pictures don't do it any justice. Looks way better in person!

Also I'm not sure if I'm keen on this or not....

And yes the rusty wing is high up on the repair list haha

An LCR splitter will tie the door blades in mate.
I agree mate.

Here's a better picture of how it looks. Hopefully I get on better with the other side as all of what I've done so far I'll probably redo as it's not 100%. The quality of the vinyl could a contributing factor as I've used better stuff in the past! If it doesn't workout as planned it'll stay on until I buy better vinyl!

Looks good from a distance though lol

Unhappy with the vinyl. So I've started to remove it lol. I need better quality vinyl if I attempt it again!

After a quick polish last Sunday, looks so damn good after a good clean! These were very close to being for sale photos though  , thankfully I think I've managed to talk myself round!

Eventually fixed my blocked rear wiper skooshers. I thought it would have been leaking like the well known common problem but I discovered after removing the boot trim that all it was, was corroded skoosher nozzles! A wee bit of WD40 and electrical wire; all fixed!

Gave my car a good clean inside and out today. Forgot to take pictures though which makes a change haha. Except this one as my boot has never been this tidy, it's usually full of s**t:

Not the best picture but can anyone explain why I found a puddle of water in the spare wheel well?

Leaking rear washer motor is the usual suspect mate.
Ah I didn't even think! I've recently had the rear liner out as my washer wasn't working! The motor etc wasn't rusted and it turned out just to be blocked nozzles! I suppose the few times I tried it and it didn't work the water had to go somewhere?

The only thing I can think that is from is lifting it too high on a ramp in a low garage, or a big *** brick, but that would have set your alarm off surely?

I know. My parents were like it must be a stone that caused it, but I was like it must have been a big *** stone haha! The garage I used has very high roof so couldn't be that. And I agree a strong enough blow to make a dent like that would surely set off the alarm!

My girlfriend just reminded me the other day when parked up she heard a metallic bang but I thought it was my bottle of water I take to work that popped. Like you know a when a plastic bottle pops when it expands?

But I think she could be right. We were parked under some trees but a falling branch wouldn't cause that surely, it would need to be big enough that we would of seen it haha.

Who knows lol

If you would have been in the car when it happened, you would have known about it.

Think I've found the culprit!

These were lying where I park all the time and they must of appeared the past few days! Don't know if it's attempted car murder lol or if it's rolled off one of the roofs as its quite close to the buildings and we have had bad weather recently.

Still doesn't explain the lack of alarm though haha

Wha the lack of beep beep, the b6 alarm is pathetic. Fair dent that is. Gutted for ya

Aye I'm pretty gutted. There's 4 or 5 of those rocks lying about. Looks like paving stones from a bit across the road so no doubt some wee s***es have been chucking them about!

Need to paint those rusty calipers too haha. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm open to ideas :)

After asking jimmyb592 about his caliper colour. I've had a look and I've narrowed down to these colours. I quite like the pewter colour.

Bit expensive :p

I fancy doing mine a nice copper colour. I'd have everything copper coloured if I could tbh.

I don't know. B&Q is quite handy to me, and for £3 I can't complain haha. Check out jimmyb's antique gold calipers. They look great!

Just been on holiday down about Birmingham at Drayton Manor all the way from Scotland with the nephews over the weekend. I finished a tank of premium diesel on the way down at 48mpg which is about the highest mpg I've achieved (I achieved 49mpg once before). But on the journey back up yesterday I achieved 56mpg (210 motorway miles at 75mph), been chasing the 50mpg mark since ownership of the car! Happy days!

Also on the M6 toll a red T5 passed us with the number plate A T5 2 LOW being chased down by an older Polo or Golf Estate. I'm sure I've seen these on the VW / Audi forums somewhere before!
