Hi all

As title says...Bought them off Beddie (Steve) thanks again for these mate. They were delivered yesterday...Just thought i'd add some photos, must say the lights look good. If you dont have them already i would buy them. Much better than the olds one. Any here some photos anyway

saw beddies post and woulda jumped straight on it but had 2 part with some moola yesterday after my car met with a curb monday evening in the ice :(

175 quids later and i can drive in a straight line again

just gotta find sum1 2 refurb my rims :(
 
Looks good mate, I was waiting to see what they looked like on lava grey.....nice touch.

Sorry to hear that, but could of been worse. Well at least you can drive it in a straight line again :) For refurb try yell.com or just type it in on google. Quite a few place down by me came up (which i never knew about).

I see you have s-line badges on the rear quarter trim, is this just badges on the trim or proper s-line trim?

Kaz i dont know mate, Its been raining down here and cold and a bit of snow...but my car seems to look ok not too dirty, i dont really let my car get that dirty. Probably be dirty by sunday with all the salt on the road. How the car going? And uni?

My Cars good - been parked up for a week now in the garage due to uni and stuff (and also because i washed it and dont want it getting dirty lol) - hopefully take it for a whizz tommorrow when i go back to my crib in Liv :D

Febs a minter for me - my partying time begins after the 23rd Jan (last exam) - where you coming, manchester or liv? :D

I need to get my votex kit on quick so my car can at least look decent against yours :D lol

found a couple places and im gonna phone about today,
1 near my workplace (pristinealloywheels) and 1 less than 3 miles from my house in notts (thewheelspecialist)

hopefully it wont kill my wallet!

so how much do these tail lights retail for?
 
Ahh good :) not bad quite close then.
Well when i went to get some from my dealer the guy i deal with jamie said £120 and some thing. Thought ok not bad. Then some other guy (gareth) said the same but when i came in to order them. Jamie wasnt in and i was stuck with this other guy gareth (kn*b) he said they were £160 and then the price was £140. So i never ended up ordering them from my dealer. But i think there only about £120.

Well i bet thats saved you a bit of money not driving lol. Haha dont blame you just looked at my car its DIRTY all salt from teh road lol. More got white patches.

I'll be in Manchester i'll go see my cousin probably stay with him or i'll be in a hotel. You be in Manchester in Feb? True forgot that you got to make up for new year eve lol. Haha Kaz mate your car more then decent lol so dont worry. Talk to you soon:icon_thumright:

lol that was the only good thing i found with crashin the car.... audi washed my car :D

for around the 150 mark i might still have a little moola rolling about in my pocket to get them lights :)

but im also tempted to have my wheels painted satin matt black while they off to be refurbed

gonna have 2 sit back and ponder sum more on where 2 spend cash...

Ahh good you can actually get them off German ebay for £120.
If there going in i would get them painted satin matt black. When i had my rs6 alloys i was going to have them GunMental Grey. Well still am as from september i will have those on my car till spring :) But new car in 2010 yay :)

EDIT: Just looked your car red go with the black alloys :)

cars still clean,
just got off the phone with pristine alloys for a quote but they want 2 see how bad the damage is before givin me a quote

painting them satin matt black is 57+vat each...
 
With the RS6 alloys was £220 all together. Full refurb and any colour of my choice. Also included taking them off my car and putting them back on. If i choice to bring them up on my car. (would have to leave the car there for two days) But now just drop the alloys off. how bad is it? Or just few marks nothing too bad?

Ok load them on here when you got some. What alloys do you have at the moment? And if you was to change alloys want ones are you after?

really not sure what to go for to be honest, but i want them to be satin matt black or anthracite

nothing bigger than 18s else ill be able to feel too much road on my long commutes
 
Ouch i had a few marks like that on one of the alloys.
Nice colours to choice from matt black or anthracite. I've got 18' now just gonna lower the car, wont be upgrading to 19. Any alloys in mind? Bbs, rs4, rs6 etc

me? im happy with it, took off my tuning box though, so im back to stock

got votex kit on it (front, rear, sideskirts, roofspoiler), aftermarket pioneer headunit with amp n subs in the back, tinted my windows recently.

i was tempted to get the rns-e but its gonna cost a fair wad due to me havin a single din setup, plus if i did id want the bluetooth phone kit because my current headunit can, then if i got this id probably want a mfsw... the list goes on lol

i was thinking RS4s in 18s but saw some R8 replicas which looked good but wasnt sure about the quality (being reps)

Edit: oh and them facelift rearlights, xenons, maybe sum lamin-x for my headlights, electric folding wing mirrors.... man this is gonna be pricey

Hey Ashley, going from strength to strength I see, looking good!!!

Keep up the good work, looks like you finally making some progress with the car, lets hope it carries on like that without any glitches....now get some hours in at work and get that suspension money!!!

heres a pic of mine before the tints and before i killed my alloys




got a quote today for refurbing 2 of my alloys and having them all painted gloss black, (after close examination gloss black looked better than satin black)

£335 quid! so im not sure what to do now... add more cash to it and get sum 18"s? or refurb and paint black...

Kit looks really good mate :D

£335 to refurb? Thats a bit steep. Max i would say £60 a wheel but if thats the case, you can get some Rs4 in the diamond cut finish (which i think would look awesome on your car) for £500ish :D - 18s
 
thanks man, was thinkin of changing front to s3 but not sure

335 is for refurbing 2 and then painting all 4 black but yeah its still quite a bit to fork out
