Phone question

quick question for someone in the know !!! I need to know if I replace my symphony with a RNSE in a 2008 s3 , will my existing phone continue to work or will it be redundant? ..and need extra /other bits .

Pretty sure the BT for phone /Nav will need recoding.

Yep just a simple recode of the phone kit to say it is connected to a nav unit and the nav unit to say it has phone kit.

Don't forget radio antenna system is different, so you may experience degraded reception, it will plug in ok but in areas it will be worse & sometimes really ****** annoying tbh.

If it has an auxin, then this needs relocating to a new 32pin connector & coded for.

There's 2 wires not needed on the RNS-E that the concert has, I always disconnect these & put heatshrink over the ends.
