Hi guys my car has Bluetooth but also has under the arm rest a phone dock . Any ideas what phone it's for?

That looks like the main base, you buy the cradle that fits your phone and it clips onto this. (Mine has the same).

That's correct, mine car has the same currently with an iPhone 5 cradle fitted (selling my old iPhone 4 cradle if you are looking for one(shameless plug))

With a phone in the cradle this connects to the car aerial giving better reception, it also charges the phone.
