Hello all

I have a 2011 A3 diesel S line with Concert Audi fit head unit. This has the Bose speaker system.
I want to fit my Phatbox unit into this for the extra flexibility and choice of music.
I've popped the headunit out but cannot fathom out how to connect the units together as the connectors look totally different from the last time I connected this Phatbox into my previous 2006 A3.
I've attached some photos of the connections I have and would be grateful of any advice, directions etc. anyone can make to
help me out. Thanks in advance ;)
pic 1 is attached to phatbox
pic 2 is adaptor from older fit (2006)
pic 3 is back of current concert head unit
pic 4 is the end of the lead in pic 1

You need something which is compatible with quadlock. I assume your old A3 had a single din or early double din symphny unit which used iso/mini-iso.

it'll not fit.

The Phatbox wont fit?
Or are you saying I'll need a quadlock adaptor.
Yes the old fit was to the symphony unit

it'll not fit, sell it and get something compatible with quadlock.

Oh bum :(
Oh well.....I had a feeling it wouldn't when i looked at connections available on new head
Thanks for the advice Chris....saved me a lot of messing about.
Have you any suggestions to anything compatible with quadlock ???

If I can fit an 'add on' CD changer, can I purchase any sort of mp3 player type of thing which would be controllable via the Concert unit and steering wheel controls ??
