Sportback PFL Park Position Lock Switch

Hi,

Has anyone had this replaced on their 8V RS3?

What's the cheapest option to sort this?

Fault code B116229

Just want to know what options I have before I get it booked in.

Is there no way of just replacing the faulty switch?

Just trying to cover all avenues before I get the whole thing done!

Got the same issue on my s3, luckily it’s still under warranty and currently in talks to my dealer to get it booked in and sorted out. But it seems to be an intermittent issue on mine. Think the whole gearbox selector has to be replaced rather than the faulty solenoid/switch as it’s easier to do this for the dealers.
