Peeling help

Hi guys, Im starting to get the my car up to scratch. The paint isn't toooo bad on the whole (though the roof is a mess of swirls as scratches for some reason) ... but I do have this going on:

The lacquer is peeling around the seal. Any ideas how to correct this before I start with a good polish/wax routine?

I guess the only way to get a definative it to go to a paintshop mate.They will tell you whether it can be wet sanded and polished flat, or if there is a need for a laquer respray

That will need flatted, buffed and then re-lacquered

Cant tell.Its like 'how long is a piece of string' !! Depends on the bodyshop (might have the paint in stock), how much is there to do...might get a shock if all the lacquer is in bad shape...really need to take it down to a shop.
