PD130 boost pipework info needed.

Im thinking of upgrading the my boost pipework to 2.5" on my PD130 and possibly upgrade the intercooler at the same time, ideally retaining the side mount position.
I'm not too sure what pipework i need and if theres a kit i can buy or do I have to source each fitting individually and buy generic pipework off ebay such as bits like this;

Has anyone done this? I've been advised to do this prior to a hybrid turbo and a map to suit it, it seems theres a tonne of kits for horizontally mounted engines but its longitudinal on a C5 so i doubt the kits will fit without alteration.

There must be some how to's on fitting a FMIC on your car. No point in putting larger bore piping and keeping the standard SMIC, even fitting an uprated SMIC it won't work as well as a FMIC.
Also 2.25 inch boost pipes are fine for 1.9 TDI. If you look at that Darkside intercooler it only has 51mm, 2 inch pipes. And thats supposed to be good for 230bhp.
Something like this would also be good for 220-230bhp

If you like plug and play solutions, then darkside kit is nice, they can build one for you however, you can have a try and mock up a fmic intercooler then take the pipes to a decent welding shop and have them welded to suit your car. If you're not too far from N. London then i coulx build you a fmic to suit your car and pipework, just give me a ring on 07789912128 if you want to discuss! Regards,

I decided to do my own hard pipe kit on my b6 pd130 with pipes from auto silicone hoses (ASH) didn't get round to upgrading the ic all the kits were for 1.8 20v when I looked on eBay :-(
