Hi all,

so I've ordered a replacement PCV for my 2011 S3 8P and was wondering if anyone can walk me through the process, i get the feeling its a simple job having had the the engine cover/ air filter off and having a little poke around. if anyone has any advice when doing this as well that would be most appreciated!!

Thanks in advance.

another thing, does anyone know where i can get a genuine DV the G revision with the rubber diaphragm ?

YouTube pcv delete , you will find an XBR video follow that , as for the DV rev G you can order direct from Audi , TPS , or Crewe Audi here or *** , Facebook

cool will have a look at that also bit of a random question but i bought a genuine Audi cam follower and it didn't come with a replacement rubber seal is that something i can grab from a hardware shop or is it part specific as it looks pretty generic?

Thanks in advance

Never ever changed my cam follower so not sure about the seal , but I would look at the old one and see if seal on it is ok if so swap it over , or maybe another member could advise better.
When doing the pcv delete make sure the seals are on correctly so as not to allow and air leaks.

The HFPF will need a new seal. The part number is in the sticky for 'preventative maintenance' at the top of the 8P forum.
TPS sell them, but they aren't cheap for what they are.

Just finished doing the both cam follower was in near new condition which is a good sign, replaced It anyway along with the seal and the PCV with the gasket all went okay had a DSP error but that was just from the battery bring disconnected.

Here is the old cam follower:
