Hey guys.
Just thought Id give you a heads up on a problem I recently had with Ebay/Paypal. I recently had a bit of a clearout and listed a load of old mobile phones I no longer use with chargers and other stuff. A guy won them, took nearly two weeks to pay but in the end I got the money for them. I posted them straight away via recorded delivery and told the guy that someone would have to be at the house to sign for the goods. After this didnt hear anything and thought cool, all done and dusted. A week later I was clearing my desk and like a tit decided to throw away the Royal Mail tracking slip, after all the guy knew the phones would be there the next day and hadnt contacted me so I assumed (yes I know assumption is the mother of all f*ck ups) it would be alright to bin them. Well two weeks after that I got an email from the guy along the lines of where are my phones can I have a tracking number, shortly followed by a Paypal dispute being opened.
Surely enough, it was ruled against me, the buyer was refunded the money and probably has my phones too. I wasnt even bothered about the money when I was selling them, just dont like having junk in draws gathering dust.
You win some, you lose some.
