Pathetic Alarm!!

I set the alarm off yesterday by accident and was supprised at how quiet it is. Is there anyway of turning the sounder up?

The "alarms" on Audi are a total joke - the sounder is so quiet it's a total waste of time.

I'm amazed that nobody sells an aftermarket add-on to make the alarm as loud as aftermarket alarms.

I had an alarm on an RV that had a 120dBA sounder inside - to frighten the light fingered so-and-so - and 2x 120dBA sounders outside to draw attention to the vehicle, it scared the hell out of me when I set it off accidentally! THAT'S what I want on my Audi...

120dBA = a jet engine at 60 metres = LOUD!!!

Add an aftermarket siren running from a relay attached to the OEM alarm horn (you will need to find a local +12v).
