Hi all,

Looking at buying one of the control arm kits to rebuild all the front suspension control arms. Apart from Ebay, do you have any suppliers that you care to share?
I'm looking for either a Lemforder or TRW kit.

Thanks,

I know you’re not looking for eBay but I’ve heard good things about the following kit.

Look at this on eBay

16 CONTROL ARMS SET KIT Audi A4 B6 8E B7 Seat EXEO LIFT SUSPENSION WISHBONE SKV

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263477314358

People have said that they are reliable.

If not try the app AUTODOC. I use it a lot. Oem parts but much cheaper. A lot of home mechanics use them. Only issue is they can take a while to arrive. 7 days sometimes.

Hope this helps.

Do AutoDoc sell complete kits?
I've just seen individual arms in there site.

I believe they are individual. Just add all the necessary arms to your basket. Do have an sline?

Yes I do, mines an S line.
I was looking at Febi or Meyle in eBay. Or even the SKV one, although I'm not too sure of the quality.
A kit has to be cheaper than individual parts.

I got the complete front end febi kit and id recommend it definitely holding up to some country road blasts Im more than happy with it.

If you are looking to keep the car long term and can stretch to Lemforder they are top quality. I know they are the OE supplier for a lot of Mercedes.

What’s the reason for changing the suspension? Are there any issues like vibrations?

Creaks when turning/going over bumps. The VW specialist I go to said I had some rubber cracking in my upper and lower joints, not terrible, but it's horrible driving around with the creaking.
