Im after a bit of advice, Ive managed to aquire a rear bumper and valance from a 1.8tavant with the twin cut-outs and now its sat in my back garden it still has all 4 parking sensors and wiring in it. This got me thinking if i now fitted the whole thing and not just the lower bit, can the sytem be retrofitted? anyone know? :detective2:

as far as i know, yes it can, but it aint cheap, hence why when i did this, i removed the standard audi ones and fitted laserline sensor kit, which just conects to the reverse wire and earth wire

I briefly looked into this when I did my twin exhaust conversion. I didn't dig deep but I got the impression it was quite a bit of hassle (and cost) to retrofit the genuine sensor loom.

Hence why I went for Audi's aftermarket fit kit the Cobra Parkmaster A0158. Its the exact kit Audi supplies, just without the Audi branding on the box! Works perfectly too.

Cobra kit is the sensible solution unless you have deep pockets!

I have a set of 4 sensors, the control box, the wiring loom for the sensors into the car and the buzzer. All brand new genuine Audi in boxes if anyone is interested. If you need part numbers just shout.

Is that the aftermarket audi kit or the factory fit kit?

Pics & part numbers would be useful so we can distinguish them apart.

No Scott there are no holders. If you have some it may help someone. Thank you. Did Audi do them, because when I was looking I couldnot see anything. I did find some Skoda ones that I thought were suitable but I cannot find the part number.
