Parking sensors in front bumper

Hey, looking for a little advice before I go stripping the bumper unnecessarily.

I've recently bought my RS6 c5 and my assisted parking has started playing up.

It turns out that I have 2 faulty sensors on the front bumper, the ones on either side of the front number plate.

With the bonnet open I can just get a finger onto the back of the connector plug. I'm not exactly sure how to remove these.
Are they fitted from the front ans a cover cap after or are they fitted from the rear and the bumper needs removing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated please.

All Audi factory fit sensors are fitted form the rear.
