Looking awesome! Ps you might want to amend one of your pictures.

Very nice Andy - car looks awesome I'm especially loving the mirror caps, LED lights and private plate. Red calipers and parade seats are the icing on the cake. Well deserved beer or two later me thinks :beerchug:

Mines not too messy so far just a layer of dust but will have a go next weekend at a mini detail.

Cheers Rob, already had a nice cold pironi as a treat. :beerchug:

Lovely mate!! It is an absolute pleasure to wash eh.. even on a cloudy day i smile when working on it. All the colours coming through in different lights is just epic!

Nice work Andy. Looking very nice and shiny. I agree the carbon mirrors really suit the car.

Didn't really plan on doing the whole clay/seal/wax just yet but couldn't leave it once I started.

Another pic of the mirrors.

Actually quite glad of the "misunderstanding" with the mirrors as I love them.

Looks amazing mate! We nearly bought a Panther Black one when we got the 8P - photo beaten to it.
I'm in love with Sepang but really revisiting the idea of Panther, only issue for me is I want the mirrors to stand out!
Either way looks stunning, nice one!

SHINEY!! Looks great Andy ......what sealant/wax did you use?

looks nice mate, black just looks awesome :)

What setting do you use on the lance and how much foam do you use in your mix?

I usually use 3 to 1 water to foam ratio to give a nice spread and let the foam sit rather than run off. Give it a cheeky agitation with a wash mitt and blast off!

I recommend car chem foam as value for money, or envy car care bubbly jubbly. Both available in 5l for around £20 and both great

Hmmm this is what I use Amazon product I can confirm it doesn't strip the paint...unlike some eBay stuff. Wouldn't risk it with a £40k car for the sake of £10!

Same, here mixed 3-1 foam to water, it does say on bottle that it can be used neat. Did use warm water, not sure if it made the foam any better or not.

Was really impressed how well,it got all the dirt off, I only normally use it on the escort and that's never really dirty.

Nice cleaning job but...

I have to say the black paint with black styling pack does nothing for me at all. Removes all the highlights and details from the car and turns it into just "some black car". Each to their own and glad you love it but not to my taste at all I'm afraid.

I thought that AUTO RAE-CHEM advertise on a lot of car forums?!?!

Looking great! Your S3 looks awesome, I'd have the carbon mirrors too.

I parked up next to what I think was a Panther black S Line today. I had to take a picture as I had never seen so many swirls before, looks like they've used a scourer.

P.S hope the picture isn't too big, can't resize on my phone.

That looks fabulous, great job. Not sure about the agitation of the snow foam with a mitt though. Its the mechanical rubbing that causes swirls. The foam will have lifted most of the dirt and grit off. But it will be sitting in the foam layer. Best thing you can do is wash this off to avoid grit to paint contact.

Very true Steve :thumbs up:

Snow foam is a pre wash not a wash. SF your car, leave to dwell for 5-10 mins, blast off with power washer, then shampoo as normal with your merino wool wash mitt using 2BM

PS I would never buy snow foam off eBay TBH. Better to buy from a reputable supplier of Detailing products IMO. Plenty of these can be found on Detailing World

Light agitation was advised by polished bliss to get it working. I'm usually very very gentle with this, and only tend to do this on lower sills and plastics.

+1 on this ....... common sense tells you that rubbing the snow foam over the paint is defeating the object of snow foam. It decreases the risk of swirl marks through no contact with the car as the foam degrades the dirt and pulls it off the car.

You could always wash off the first snow foam and re do it then use ure wash mit in the fresh stuff . That's wot I do sometimes
