Pairing Samsung Galaxy S9 plus

Evening all.

My wife has a new(wish) phone per thread title. She can't seem to get it to pair in my S3 which she occasionally gets to drive (!). Her previous Samsung Galaxy phone paired up fine so not sure what issue might be.

Anybody had similar experience or got any ideas ?

Is this purely Bluetooth or Android Auto/Car Play? Never had issues with my S9 plus and MY17 S3.
Not that this helps with your query...apart from that it wasn't an issue on mine.

I've just paired an S9+ and a Note 9 with my car no problem. You can either try setting your car's visibility to on and finding it through the phone, or turning your phone visibility on and pairing it through the car.

Thanks for replies chaps. Yes it's purely a Bluetooth issue so I'll try the visibility route.

As above my S9 finds the car straight away when i get in.
