Painting Crash bar

hey,
Can I ask what paint anyone who has painted their crash bar has used ?

Hammerite ? Or something else ?

All tips welcomed.

Hoping its rubber qualities will make it resistant to chipping

Think I paid £20 for it to be powder coated and then I put a black wrap on after for extra protection.

the metal bar that sits behind the bumper that absorbs and distributes the crash force/energy through the chassis

Depending on your grill, it can sometimes be seen and as it is usually silver it stands out a bit!
