    Hi all,

I am trying to find the Audi paint code and name to get the original finish on my 19" 5 segment spoke alloys. Or Peelers are they are sometimes referred to (same style as the C6 RS 6 wheels).

The information is surely out there, but I haven't found it yet.

The original wheel colour is a silver, but has real depth to it, producing an *almost* getting on for chrome like look.

Pictures to be clear what I am talking about:

I know somewhere that can refurb these to the correct colour, but I need the paint codes as I want to widen my options on where I get these refinished.

There’s no manufactures paint code available for most wheels and definitely not these. As Audi simply buy them in from whatever wheel manufacturer is contracted to make them.

I went through the same thing a number years ago with these exact wheels. I can tell you that the name of the colour that you’re describing is “Hyper Silver”. Though different wheel places will have their own interpretation of it.

Thanks. Having had a read on Hyper Silver, it certainly sounds like the original finish is a type of Hyper Silver.

However it also sounds like there are many variations. Unless the is one distinct Audi Hyper Silver?

Which is probably the reason most if not all alloy wheel refurbishes advice “get them all done at the same time” so that they have enough freedom in movement colour match wise!

Probably. Pristine in Woburn Sands match them perfectly. I have had singles and pairs done. I was just hoping to get a different firm 10 minutes from my door on the right path but I can revert to using Pristine if need be.

As far as I know Audi use Wurth paint. No idea with paint code, but I matched up my allow after a light scuff with the kerb. Secret is wet-look lacquer top coat.
