What front brake discs and pads would be better out of pagid and delphi for a3 1.8 tsfi ? Discs are the 312mm ones

Pagid is £61.42 for discs and £32.43 for pads from halfords which i have the now and would supply to garage to fit them
Delphi is £86.25 for discs and £43.28 for pads from gsf, these are what the garage said they would fit if they supplied them there selfs but not sure exactly what price they would charge me for them as i just looked online when they mentioned they normally get delphi or drivetec brakes from there supplier they use but i’ve not heard anything about delphi before and know drivetec is gsf cheap own brand so don’t want to use them

and also if i supplied garage the pagid discs and pads is that all they would need to get the job done ? Or should there be new screws or bolts in the brake disc box or anything as its only the 2 discs inside the box ?

A leaked internal ECP document... also shows who ECP purchased and quality levels !

Never had Delphi brakes, but I used Pagid for both discs and pads on my Lexus several times and never had a problem with them. Reasonable wear rate, reasonable dust output (better than the dust output of whatever are on my A3 right now that's for sure!)

With my VAG car the front Pagid discs 'warped' and replaced with Brembo .

When I got my other car ( Stuttgart ) I didn't know what was on there but the dust was like nothing I'd experienced before , just a few low mileage days and this...

So I had all 4 replaced with Brembo discs and EBC Redstuff pads , night and day !

And what came off.... you guessed it .

I’ve also used trw. Never had a problem with them on fast and slow cars. Always comes with all the fittings and sensors. Basically just works. Would class them as oem+. The oe brakes on the s3 are made by trw so they can’t be that bad
