I only had my second drive of the new car today and have a question about using the paddles.

I often drive my dual clutch trans cars in semi auto mode, ie. I’ll drive in auto but also use the paddles when necessary. Normally I can switch back to auto by holding the up paddle. Reading the manual it suggests the same should work in the rs3, but it didn’t, holding the up paddle made it cycle up to top gear.

Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to flick back to auto.

it did on the PFL, but not on the FL, just knock the shift lever and it will go back onto the auto mode.

FL paddles will give you lowest or highest gear available when held down :D

Push the stick left (to manual) then back right again is what I used to do.

Sadly Audi have deemed to remove the hold paddle to revert back to auto mode........

Only thing you get now is the 'all hell' break loose mode when holding any of the paddles for a brief period.......which is quite funny because the car can sound angry as.......
