Hi guys.
Unfortunately my 5 year old A4 Avant (2.0tdi), which I've had from new has started to give me problems. Back in November the EML came on and I've only just been able to get it booked it in for diagnosis, well the fault code that was found was 'P200200-particulate trap bank 1 efficiency below threshold'
Which I understand, we don't do long mileage anymore due to the last few years with covid but I've been quoted for £1500 for parts and labour to change the EGR valve.
My question is would that fault code indicate that the EGR valve needs replacing?
I'm going to see if I can clear the EML by putting some redex DPF cleaner in the tank and run the car for a while to see if I can start the DPF regeneration.
I'll keep you posted.
