P1531/P0333 Camshaft Timing Adjustment

Over the past few months I've kept seeing the same two codes pop up when scanned. I used to simply clear them and move on, but eventually I decided after experiencing some performance related issues that I should probably not clear them anymore.

The first is P1531. Below are the scans where I've remembered to save the log before clearing:

The other code I've yet to save, but it had something to do with a knock sensor, P0333 I believe it was.

I know the first could be related to the N205 valve, but before I run off and replace it I just want to make sure that in the context of the knock sensor error I mention above that the issue does not lie elsewhere
 
Try taking out and cleaning/replacing camshaft sensor.
 
Fault vvt actuator valve by the looks of it, won't be the camshaft position sensor as it isn't complaining about the timing being out of range just that the valve has gone open circuit. Only comes as a complete VVT tensioner unit I believe, not too bad to replace.

Thanks for info. Got a part number and/or DIY for the tensioner?

Is it the same problematic part as the "cam chain tensioner" people complain about that results in a noisy engine?
