Hi all, I developed a p0016 code a week or so ago and have still not got to the bottom of it, so far I have changed both the cam and crank sensors with bosch ones, I have also checked the Cambelt timing marks, these look to be good. I also just changed the chain tensioner & chain, set the cams vertical and had to rotate the intake camshaft back a little so any slack is at the top. Still no improvement. Have checked the cam specified angle with actual and these are 28spec and actual 29-30 at idle.
Does anyone have any ideas where to go next or what else I can check?
Thanks in advance

Update, checked timing marks again, look good although the no.1 piston seems to be on its way down from tdc even though all marks line up perfectly. Also found oil in the water, so assuming oil cooler has died, getting that changed today see how much difference that makes, fingers crossed.

issue found, note to self, dont asume everything is ok even though marks align. crank gear key and key way worn, fingers crossed caught this soon enough.
