Hello Everyone!

New to the forum and joining from Australia here.

Taken delivery of my S4 Avant for 2 weeks now and what an impressive car! I’m really loving it more each day! Luckily for me, the car was in Audi Australia inventory so I didn’t have to endure a long wait. It had the specs I wanted, so I immediately took the plunge when the dealer confirmed it available.

The colour is Glacier Metallic White with the high gloss black package. The car is almost fully loaded with the exception of dynamic steering, rear entertainment and rear blinds options.

This is my first Audi and loving it more than the BMW and Mercedes I had before.

G'day. A fellow Aussie here but currently suffering the snowy weather in the UK, brought my A4 over here last year. I'm guessing you are leiatuii on Whirlpool? Anyway, lovely car hope you get to Sandown at some point with it.

Live in Brisbane and take it you are in Melbourne. Will be down there in June for State of Origin II.
Being a member of this forum is quite worthwhile and have already saved $$'s, but spent $$'s on good gear too!

Thanks everyone. The S4 is an awesome car! The Avant ticks all the boxes for my needs, a great all-rounder! Kids love the pano roof and the wife keeps complimenting the car.

After reading Jcbmally’s comment, it’s funny that the 3 letters in my registration is ASN ‘Audi Sport Net’ LOL!

I know from reading elsewhere that you aren't happy with the alloys but I think they look really good. Yes I'm biased as they are the ones I've got on my car, and yes mine is only an s-line so I get why you'd want yours to be different from the standard s-line ones over there but they are still around $2k per corner to replace so upgrading may cost a lot more than you think.

Anyway, what are do other forum members think? Do we like those alloys on the S4?

I think the RS style alloys look great and were my no.1 choice when speccing my S4....they’re a pain to clean though!

I liked the original B8 RS4 v-spokes, they had some nice dish on them. These versions for the B9 aren’t as concave so don’t do it for me. In fact I think the entire range of wheels for the B9 (incl RS4) are a little uninspiring.

Reckon a set of C7 RS6 style rims would look immense on the B9. Probably in 19”s though, 20”s might be overdoing it.

I think the RS style alloys look great and were my no.1 choice when speccing my S4....they’re a pain to clean though!

Unreal how hard to clean even with a coating on tho I have found lately that a spray over with bilt hamber auto foam in the pump sprayer and left to dwell followed by a good jet wash works very well and when contact cleaning a micro fibre cloth seems to grab the dirt and brake dust the best

I know what you mean, wheels can make or break a car.

The B9 S4 range are nice but yes a set of aftermarket or as you say RS6 style could be so much better, I’m looking for a new set and using both for summer/winter.

They are the £1200 option wheels I have. Mine clean really easy. Still plan to ceramic seal them when get better weather.

Here in Australia, those are the standard wheels and the RS ones are a no cost option.
