Outer CV joint boot clamp

Where can I get a decent CABLE/ZIP TIE of suitable thickness and length for the outer (wider) end of the outer CV joint boot? I trecked down to Maplin and got their longest ties and, well, they weren't long enough. It's just a temporary fix until I can get the real "Oetiker" clamp on.

Do Laser do a proper tool for the Oetiker clamps which I can pick up from GSF or Halfords etc?

Alternatively, any tips for getting the Oetiker clamps on without the tool?

Failing that, where can I get a zip tie which will fit? I just want to get it sealed temporarily and I will get the garage to fit the Oetiker clamp when I MOT it.

Motorworld or hell frauds or any good motorfactor will stock zip ties of sufficient length and girth,My local factors certainly does

If you on about the std type clips supplied with the boot kit then they can be pulled tight enough and cut with a suitable pair of pliers
