Because I am thinking of changing the car I decided to refit the original radio,an easy enough job just plugs,then 100 yards down the road I realised why-an annoying intermittent bleeping noise when listening to radio,ok with cd though. May go for a tt sport but didnt realise some came with horrible looking black wheels.

Is there a patten to the beeps, how long has the radio been disconnected? Do you have vdcs to check for faults.

Mine does this, if I turn off the TP (Traffic announcement thing) it stops beeping
