BCM must to coding !

Take the left one out again and double check the height is correct once more.
Also check they are seating flush and do click into place.
You could possibly check the left one in the right hand holder just to see if it does actually work.

Left one doesn't fit into the right side

Real shame they don't work for you.
Strange though I can't recall a pre 2010 one not working before with these led's on here?
The only issue I came across was the prongs (as I mentioned) not contacting but just a simple adjustment there.

Me too but I assume its something to do with the cold diagnosis for the lights?

PS. I don't have a clue what cold diagnosis is, but I have seen it with various options relating to different lights on the car so it's a wild guess

Can you elaborate a bit more fella? You have been very vague in terms of what you have exactly changed via VCDS.

What module did you go into in the first place and what did you change in byte17? And what did you change? From what to what?

Im assuming that the "bit" you are modifying turns off the whole Light blown system rather than just for the number plates?

first send me yours long code from BCM ( central electronic 09 ) if you have SW 651 or high

and I make code , and you tray ( if golf 6 work whay dont work in A3 have same BCM ?????????)

in bite 17 you tell to BCM to you have LED number plates

Gotcha !! That now looks really simple just one tick box. Trouble is I've since sold on the LED lights - can anyone else try this on MY10? as I'll buy some more if it works.
