OPF filter 2017?

Hey guys so I'm looking to get an a3 model 2,0 tfsi and was wondering do any of you guys know when they started putting in the gdf/opf filter in the models?

Really wanna get a a3 that can make some sound

You’re in the 8L section here (1996-2003) but sounds like you’re talking about 8V (2013-2020).

I have a facelift late 2016 (UK 66 Reg) and that is pre GPF.

Basically, the “sweet spot” is cars that are facelift, registered between 2016-2017 (66/17/67 plates). The S3 in this period has 310ps instead, and sounds pretty decent on a standard exhaust system.

Cars registered after 1st September 2018 is the first gpf cars.
mine is the last of the pre gpf cars registered august 2018
