I have a b6 quattro and on full lock I get a judder almost like the car is crabing.
Im guessing this is due to all four wheels turning only the fronts being at a sharper angle?
All im wanting to know is if this does any damage to tyres or mechanics of the car? I would never floor it whilst on lock but im wondering what you guys thought?

i have the same problem and was told the same so never worryed me

Im not really worried as that seems perfectly within reason. It just seems odd, ive not been in another awd that does it...

I have the same, assumed it was to do with the awd but it has been bugging me why. If someone could explain the physics that would be great as I can't get my head around it. Something to do with prop shaft and the drive shafts turning together maybe.

I don't have it, or never noticed it in the Audis, but happens all the time in the Jeep... it's even called the 'jeep hop' lol

It's normal. Worse when your tyres are knackered!
