I pulled and pulled and nothing gave. Well something did but it was inside the tailgate lol. So two questions,

1. How the frig do you get the wiper off?

2. How do I get inside the tailgate so I can reattach the wiper motor?

All help and advice appreciated

The wipers tend to seize on, its generally best to cut them off and replace them to avoid damagin stuff....

In side the tailgate is a traim piece, there's threads in here on how to remove that. I think its a couple screws and a meaningful amount of force in the right direction. Once that is out you'll see the motor mounted in there.

Wiggle the wiper. It will come off.

I've bought a wiper puller from machine Mart for a tenner. Cheaper than having to buy a new wiper arm, or worse a new rear window. I'll do it tomorrow.

All this just to realign the wiper arm because it's resting on the tailgate rather than the window.

guess some do and some don't

mine was well and truly stuck after 10 years, despite a gallon of plus gas, and all techniques known this side of hte karma sutra still ended up dremelling it off!
