Got this car on wednesday, was told it had a mini service by the dealer the day before i got it. Anyway, had to drive 200 miles this morning to get home, 20 miles from home the olil light came on, limped home on low revs, oil temp ws fine didnt go over 100c. haven't checked it for oil yet as im just home and want it to cool down first. Any ideas what it could be?
You just need to top the oil up, they can use a fair bit of oil. However I would ask what the mini service included, and look to see what colour the oil is on the dip stick, that should indicate if it's been done or not!
I believe that "In The RS4 manual is states, that engine must be started, so warm, then switched off for 2 minutes, then checked. check your manual as It might be different".
