So i bought a 2015 A3 1.4 TFSI from an Audi dealership in Aug last year. The car was due a service so was done when i bought it.Now 1600 miles later the dash is saying it needs an oil service in 28 days.
That can't be right can it ?

Someone didn't reset the SRI (Service Reset Indicator) correctly by the sounds of it. Just clear it using the MMI then get it properly reset at your next service.

Its probably done on time as well

If you look at the times, its exactly 6 months which is a part service and oil change

I personally change my oil every 6 months regardless if its done 10 miles or 10,000 miles

But I had a major service last february and have not had a chance to do the oil due to all the lockdowns ect.. and my light has not come on, its strange as its due at the end of the month which is exaclty a year

have a look at when it says it needs a inspection. should be Aug 2021 if they have set it correctly.

Ah could be due an oil service.Just got the my audi app and it says inspection with brake fluid change when i bought the car.

£180 for oil change with inspection.Sod that will get it done for £55 from National Tyres.

Try an Audi specialist, the one I uses does and inspection as standard on a basic oil change and doesn't charge any extra.

Different oil maintenance schedules can be selected by the dealer or via scanner. Low mileage schedule is based on time not mileage. In NAR cars low mileage schedule is not common but you are ROW so maybe a different default.
