Hi folks,
As per the title it’s coming time not to refresh the dampers and likely the springs.

I’m happy with oem and have no desire to put coilovers on this car.

Could people please let me know what dampers and springs they’d recommend? AUTODOC has quite a variety.
Cheers

John

For OEM, you might consider kit produced by Bilstein or Boge Sachs.

I once had a very nice E30 MTech OEM set-up with Bilstein B6 shocks, Sachs springs, and M3 OEM rear mounts. Springs still going after 20 years, shocks and mounts at least ten years old now.

Bilstein B4 shocks are pure OEM, B6 are OEM height but give a firmer ride.

Thank you so much! I’m unfamiliar with the naming conventions for Bilstein.

I’ll likely go for an oem equivalent- in which case the b4 is something to look at.
