OEM HID MOT issues

Has anybody had MOT issues with OEM xenon headlights fitted without levelling and washer system.

Ive looked through the mot documentation and it states

“Vehicles with high intensity discharge (HID) or LED dipped beam headlamps may be fitted with a suspension or headlamp self-levelling system. If these systems have been fitted, they must work”

and for the washer system

“You must inspect vehicles first used on or after 1 September 2009 equipped with headlamp washers.”

so thinking if no levelling system is fitted then it’s not a fail and also the car is a 2006 so should be ok on the washer front?

Generally, if they see the systems are fitted they must work, it's a little of a contentious area tbh as most testers don't follow that rule book of they must be fitted with xenon's.

Thanks Gents I’ll just fit the headlights and loom, bit of a ball ache to fit the other bits plus it’s less to go wrong!
