Adi 2018

Organised by Audi Driver magazine. Supported by Audi UK.

Designed to be the UK event to celebrate all things Audi, with a blend of the static and the dynamic that’s hard to beat, 2017 was by all accounts the best year to date with high numbers people attending on the day, whether as a spectator or driver/passenger and nearly all of the Audi owner and enthusiast clubs in attendance too.

It enjoys great support from Audi UK with its static display drawn from the latest offerings and the Heritage fleet, plus a brace of Audi Driving Experience R8 V10 Plus' running passenger laps fpr the lucky few whose names are drawn from a hat.

In advance via this site or on the day tickets are available (shortly TBC) for track sessions, parade laps, extra drivers and passengers.

As in previous years entry is just £10 per person (under 16's go free).

Would be rude not to attend, as only 25 odd miles away for me

Even worse news, bailed out of this event as I'm busy, but now...the s3 is going pal

Are you serious? Wtf.. :( I hope you’re buying an RS3....
Started hunting for a defender, which will almost certainly break down

Had a think and I can't justify the money that's tied up in my s3 when it sometimes won't move for a solid 2 weeks...

Not to say I won't be back in a s/rs audi in the future!

This is a sad day!

I understand, it is a lot of money to have tied up and priorities are elsewhere at the moment and ultimately of course it’s what you feel works best for you.

Mine had only been out once in 2 weeks until today, just trying to keep it clean and have had other transport so the RS has sat. I’ve saved a fortune in fuel this month :lmfao:

Helps keep some of the mileage off, I’m nearing 11,000 miles in 10 months now.

Oh and when I did get it out today, it felt like dirt off of a shovel.. big smiles all around.

Aye, in back of my mind the idea of a mortgage/deposit is there.
But every Sunday, I get my dogs and hiking tackle sites, walk right past the car and load up the work van and go off walking for the day, so makes sense swapping something that doesn't go anywhere for something that will.
And it will still be a head turner, maybe more than the s3 is in my area, and won't plummet in value....but yeah might have some repair bills along the way.

Coming round to that time of the year where yet RS is best sitting with its feet up!

Yeah it does make sense as sad as it will be for it to go, I’m sure you will be back at some point.

Do you plan on sticking around on the forum? For a price on your S3, try Weybridge Vehicle Consultants and The Car Specialist, great experiences from both and they will collect. They pay top price for enthusiast quality cars.

There is normally a really really good ASN turn out for this show so well worth attending in order to meet fellow members. RS3 Fest is on the same day there also... not sure why they give their stand a different "show name" but this and the track helps to make it a very well attending event overall.

Not attending myself but well worth a look so get adding your name to the list!

All, unfortunately I can no longer make this date :fearscream:.
Wife has some surgery the following week, so we are going away for a long weekend.

Really gutted, as was looking forward to it.

I’ll be attending this year too. Last year was decent and I’ll be on track again. See you all there.

@Sandra do I need to do anything to be able to be on the ASN stand area like last year?

If any you guys are available to help put up the stand I’m sure Tom would really appreciate the help.

If you can help drop Tom @AudiSpy a message or leave a message on here.

Many Thanks

I’m happy to help out this time, it’s only an hour or so down the road from me. What time do I need to be there Tom? @AudiSpy

Is anyone that’s going to this event able to clone or swap gauge clusters? A4 B7. PM please.

Edgar

Sounds good, we will both be convoying down so you can count on us two to be there to help :) I know it’s a quiet show for ASN but the tent would be welcome shelter, the forecast doesn’t look great for Saturday :( x

Thanks Matt and Callum. :) x

I’ve been told to ask by my other half, who is even less happy about the idea of spending a day stood in a wet field ;)

Do we know if the tent will be getting built on the day? If so there is good reason / requirement for us to come and help, but otherwise we wouldn’t have planned on arriving until 9-9:30, so would just drag out the hanging around with lack of shelter.

The tent will be going up on the day @AudiNutta you just arrive at your time. It’s a long enough day for you Matt. :) x
