Obd2 switch

I have my elm327 wifi connected but it's permanently on. Is there something I can place between the connections to act as a switch

Have you had battery issues? I leave mine in for weeks at a time with no problems. Assuming you mean a bluetooth elm327 adapter?

No. I installed it today and noticed it's always on and the lights flicking away.

Yeah mine is the same in the Audi and my old Freelander. It doesn't use much power at all. Like I say, I leave mine plugged in with no issues. I personally wouldn't want to add a switch but I do know some who people have.

Battery died after not using car for 2.5 days.

Sounds like there could be an underlying issue/s. Mine is parked up for two weeks at a time sometimes and still starts no problem with OBD plugged in. A bluetooth one.

Mines wifi not sure if that's reason why or my battery is slowly becoming bad.

I only have the red power led lit, so it barely uses any battery consumption.

Mine has 5 leds and 3 of there are constantly on and flickering.
