I bought these. They are the mutts nuts. Had a set on my a4 now on my s3 Audi A3 S3 A4 S4 RS4 A6 S6 Q7 LED License Plate Light on eBay (end time 23-Feb-11 20:27:14 GMT)
I got THESE ones from ebay. A pair for £9.87 delivered and they have resistors with a heat sink built in. Worked first time without any problems
I have already messaged Santa for a my10 solution. He still hasn't got back to me. Times like this you wish you had an older car.
I'll get a pic later on for you. Wife has got the car at her work. I have the festoon replacements on my Caddy van which are good but not as good as the unit replacement.
I got some of those and they've worked really well for a year. Once I'd installed them the right way round & worked out that the heat sink was shorting out on the copper contact prongs... I paid a bit more for them & company I got them from has gone bust anyway, so use Rob's linky. Nelson - can you see yours from space? That's quite a few LEDs there fella...
i got some via a link in the ebay thread last week, think the same link above? fitted last night and absolutely bob on...£15 pair
they are quite bright. Finish the car off nicely though. The light spectrum matches the BI-xenon's nicely. The best ones I've seen. I went through trials and tribulations with LED's I have a sweety tin full of them now (one of those fases). lol
I got those from the link above but they look nothing like that picture? Very dull compared to that? Also they were about 10mm longer than my standard bulbs, so i had to slightly bend the connecters, do you think they may have sent me the wrong ones? Ta
these are the ones you want been in for a good while now without a single problem Audi 239 LED Number Plate Light Bulbs Canbus Xenon on eBay (end time 13-Feb-11 16:38:12 GMT)
They're no good - they make the number plate look blurred LOL!!!!!!!!! Seriously - they look good. Might have a dabble !
they are anti speed camera leds on a serious note they are very bright and white they look brighter than bmw's and lexus' leds so im happy and for a few quid if they do mess up then they dont cost the world to replace do they
Took a photo this morning. Sorry about quality. Iphone camera is pishhh. They are pretty bright in daylight so imagine what they be like at night. The built quality of these is second to none also. Just unscrew the existing carrier and replace the whole unit. Audi A3 S3 A4 S4 RS4 A6 S6 Q7 LED License Plate Light on eBay (end time 23-Feb-11 20:27:14 GMT)
at the time all i could afford was the ones ive got now they do me fine but obviously the more expensive ones are going to be better quality i wish i saved up a bit but never mine eh for the price of the ones i bought i think they do well
I spent over half an hour fitting these bulbs last night, in all possibly orientations, with no joy. Bending the contact tabs to different positions made no difference either, and the bulbs that WERE in there (that threw up errors, but came on with the UNLOCK fob button) no longer work. All four bulbs tested fine with a battery, but won't work in the car. Fed up!
