Not able to sale..

A bit dark for pictures tonight, I think I'm going to miss the S3's mpg...lol. Oh well, it makes a lovely noise

Yes I know.
Which they sorted outside the warranty for a price that I imagine would have been a lot higher than the £1775 they quoted me to fix my seat that they refused to sort because that was outside the warranty.

Ah, sorry. Misread your reply. That's bad they wouldn't sort your seat. Would they not even contribute?

I was very lucky, that the dealer traced the problem down to a faulty injector. And given the engine had only done 32,000 miles. Total bill would have been just over £18,000.

£18,000... what an absolute scandal.

It wouldn't of been worth you fixing it if Audi didn't do it would it? A new engine after 32K is not what you expect from any car manufacturer never mind Audi.

Mate of mine took his car to the main stealers, over £1,000 to repair...he then took it to a specialist and the bill came to £175 :)
Had my 2nd service done today for £198 by a indy, Audi wanted £421.

And that second service only cost the indy about 60 quid.

Everyone making a few quid along the way

I'd rather give the indy £198 for something that costs him £60 than give Audi £421 for something that costs them £60 or less!!!

Definitely. Overly expensive at dealers.

But then any warranty will be void won't it? I bought warranty when I got my RS3. Serviced it myself, I'm level qualified mechanic, then when I had a problem with car I was reading through my warranty book and looks like I've voided it.

Quick question mate. You ever had trouble off police for illegally spaced characters on your plate?

I've done my number plate my self perfectly and had many polices bhind me n front and nothing..
Ppl too much exaggerating and are paranoid too much .. in uk.. and are scared and reality is more n more audis showing up and tunnings and police is properly aware of it and they just leave it ..
