our 2008 a3 sportback doesnt have rear cupholders, and no armrest. is there a way to fit cupholders somehow?
i have seen a vw cupholder than fits on the back of the centre armrest and folds away when not in use. our a3 has a cubby hole there that looks a similer size and shape, is this something that can be fitted to an a3 or any other ideas for getting round this? really missing having one with the kids in the back

this is the cupholder

On my S3 they are in the rear arm rest. I think when you fold it down it can then be popped out of the front.
Mine is a sportback with the through load as well.

You'll need to change the whole rear backrest to get your cupholders. Why. Bother , they are a nuisance and kids don't close them after use. They then catch them with their feet and break them.

I could be tempted by one of them ebay jobbies, for £12 it would be worth a try to see if it fits.
