I have an occasional use 2003 Audi S3 8L with the following:

    Badger5 v1 turbo intake pipe
Jetex cone filter under the OE airbox cover
    Wagner Front-mount intercooler and pipework
    Forge 008p DV
    Pipewerx down-pipe and sports CAT
    Miltek non-resonated exhaust
Saikou Michi oil catch-can with PCV simplification
    TFSI coilpacks with adaptors
    N249 bypassed
    Seat Leon Brembo's
    Bilsten B12
    Mapped to 275 BHP & 308 lb-ft

I dont use the car every day and i dont track the car, but i've gotten used to the power and with so many new cars now having 275+ as factory standard (Cupra, Type R, RS, R, S3, 140i) i feel i need a little more uumph just to keep up.

Whats the next step for me? I suppose IE rods and bigger turbo but what would that give in terms of BHP and driveability?

Hybrid turbo or big turbo. Hybrid is easier and cheaper and can get between 300 and 400bhp with supporting mods, i.e. rods, ex manifold, injectors.
Big turbo, obviously depending on what turbo you use, normally some form of Garrett, some boys on here running well over 500. It all depends on what sort of money you want to spend.
Drivability is down to the person mapping it.

Drivability is not just a mapping thing... the right choice of hardware plays a big part in how drivable a set up is...

Its got good flow and decent sound at the moment but i would like to eliminate the weak spots of this engine, im thinking IE rods and maybe hybrid turbo just to give it a little more possible round the 300 mark would be nice. Nothing too savage or brutal.

Maybe a chat with Bill might give me some ideas!

Yeah bikes are great, if you like being cold, wet and you have a fetish for wearing leather, oh and of course, like risking your life every time you get on one. :)

    275bhp Audi S3 8l = Weight 1420kg + 25kg Fuel (25ltrs) + 100kg driver (Ahem!) = 1545kg = 1.545t = 177.99 BHP per tonne

    I lose 4 stone !!!!!! = 25kg = 1520kg = 180.9 BHP per tonne

    Instant 3bhp increase.
