Newbie with a Kingfisher B5 Avant

Hi guys,

I just joined the site and hope to learn a lot about the B5. I've recently acquired a B5 facelift 1.9TDI in Kingfisher Blue with a votex kit and alloys. I'm based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

My plans are to fully restore the car as I enjoy detailing, fixing any broken bits, add certain S/RS parts like wheels, interior, xenons etc in an OEM+ approach and just run the car as a do it all daily as the mpg is a massive improvement on my current daily mk6 Golf R.

I'm using the search function a lot to find answers but if anyone has knowledge of the B5 and is prepared to help answer a few questions I'd be really happy to make a connection.
