hi all ,

ive had vag group cars for quite a few years now mainly mk4 golfs and 8l s3s but recently i sold my imolla yellow s3 and bought a a3 8p 3.2 quattro sport manual its not the fastest thing ive driven but its a nice all rounder and it sounds and drives sweet

i usually use ukmk4s edition 38 under another username

car already has a few mods id of done myself witec damping adjustable coilovers its currently sat on 19" bk 993 wheels (im changeing these soon) pioneer double din dvd bluetooth headunit (very nice but its going too) tan leather usual spec

so ive been makeing the car my own it had fly eye crap on all the lights :puke2:each to there own i guess

so i removed all that

limmo tinted windows im not a fan so removed all that

im going to change the wheels to something more oem looking 19" rotors ideally

Really like it mate!

I feel your pain when it comes to the bank account! I too am looking for some new alloys. I'm also looking at retro fitting the cruise control on mine, how did you find the install?

cheers mate ive still got a too do list as long as my arm though hehe

it was pritty easy to install mines a 54 so i had to run the extra wire from the stalk into the module under the driver footwell this was a bit of a pain and when i coded it with vcds i started the car to find every fault light was lit up steering angle sensor abs traction control etc so i had to re learn the car its settings you can do this by driving it in certon ways traction and abs went out soon as i moved it but steering angle i had to learn it theres loads of guides on this though on ross tech etc

i did 550 miles on £94 of fuel a few days back 35 mpg at 70 mph on a run the cruse control helped i think though not bad for a v6 with a few mods :)

Hehe yeah my to do list is also rather long!

Cheers for the reply, and good work on the install, I'll probably give it a go myself. I'd certainly be happy with 35mpg mate!

well another small update ive changed my wheels to speedlines now for the oem+ look not the best pic but you get the idea :D
