Hi all,
always wanted to jump onto a forum of like-minded Audi enthusiasts especially considering 3 months ago I joined the club.
Got this car for under 10,000 Euros. English imported into Ireland a couple of years ago and owned by a Doctor doing insane motorway miles and a business owner who only did 9,000 miles since she came here. He was bored of it's ''lack of power,'' and went and got an S5 while the A5 sat in a garage idle.
A great price was reflected in her needing some work though which has cost me around 1,600 so far.
- Dual Mass Flywheel
- Clutch
- Seized Front Left Caliper
- Power Steering Pump
- Alternator Belt / Idler Pulley Replacement
- Major Service
She's about to reach 150k miles and drives like a new car. Having driven showroom A5s and even an S5, absolutely delighted with my purchase in comparison. I clean interior/exterior once per week, waxing every 2nd-3rd week and am going to service her around every 8,000 miles from here. I've done a number of paint-related repairs for stonechips myself although incredibly, the front of her is chip free after all those miles.
Hoping to take her to 200,000 miles and beyond!
