hey,
does anybody know which way up they should be? mine were hanging with the bolt on the top, but common sense suggests otherwise. i.e resting on top with bolt underneath . also the car is now silent on any bump and the tracking is sorted,
the causes i was told by audi and a few tuners were,
drive shafts, both wishbones, anti-roll bar(new one), and top mounts all of which i don't need because they aren't worn at all.
Them track-rod ends are far cheaper than the parts listed above

ah ok , thanks just wanted to make sure as my driver side was that worn, a few more miles and i think it would of popped off and maybe made me crash. I
am glad its fixed though it was a nightmare trying to keep the car straight.
