New to VCDS, look for ideas of things to do

Hi all,

I have recently bought an A3 Saloon Quattro (2015) along with also buying a VCDS kit to make some changes to it.

I have currently installed the following:

• Digital Speedo in DIS
• A3 logo in start up
• Gauge (Needle) Test
• Lane Change Lights to flash 4 times
• Reverse lights brightness to 127%
• Custom ADS Mode
• Oil temperature
• Advanced comfort settings
• Pace Car Indicators
• Automatic gear selection shown in DIS
• Windows up and down with key fob
• Passenger mirror tilt in reverse gear

Has anyone got any ideas of other things I should do?

I would like to know how to programme to have adaptive brake lights so when I brake hard, the brake lights flash or the rear fogs do? I currently have it set so the hazard lights flash however I'd prefer if the brake lights did.

They are added to lots of cars as a safety feature to warn the driver behind you are braking hard so they don't rear end you. They are called hazard lights for that reason, to warn people of hazards. Have a look at the new Merc's, they flash the brake lights for the same reason, that is what I'm looking to code but unsure how to
