New Spare Key

So when I bought the car, the dealer (Arnold Clark) are unable to obtain the spare key for whatever reason and offered to replace it FOC obvisouly, however the car says 2 keys are regiestered.

My thoughts are how will my spare key be done? Will they remove the old key from the cars memory and reprogram the new one, anyone had experience of this?

Do Arnold Clark have the ability to do this, in my mind I thinking only Audi can. Im thinking a guy will turn up and cut a standard key to get in the car and then thats it.

If the company supplying the and coding the key is using genuine Audi parts and software then the “missing” key will be automatically removed due the coding procedure.
