New S4 Cab in 4 weeks

Hello everyone.

I am taking delivery of a new S4 cab around the middle of April. I ordered the car as soon as it was announced.

At a recent test drive of an S4 saloon (manual - I have ordered a Tiptronic version), I was impressed with the overall smoothness of the car, but a little disappointed with the overall performance. I have previously owned a V6 S4 saloon and an E46 M3 manual (amongst others), both of which felt quicker.

Nonetheless, the appeal of Audi cabin quality, a 4.2 V8, 4 wheel drive and an open top have led me to keep the order open.

When it arrives, I will let you know whether it lives up to expectations.

It's a tiptronic like yours, Silver with black nappa leather - I nearly had the red, but without actually seeing it, I couldn't be sure. Extras:-

Like you I ordered the car back in September, the spec:

Black int with Brushed Aluminium
Tiptronic
Comfort Pack
Heated Seats
BOSE
Symphony II audio
Acoustic parking system
Wind Deflector

I did want to go Dolphin with red leather, but until I see that combo in the flesh I thought it best avoided.
