Facelift New S3 gearbox issues

Hi,

I picked up my new S3 last week and it is the manual version. But after only doing 200 odd miles it doesn't want to select 2nd correct, feels like a very old box lots of travel in 2nd and doesn't lock in as tight as other gears.

Anyone else had this?

Waiting on garage phoning me to arrange getting it in.

The gear selection mechanisms can go a bit tits up... its VAG thing !

But thats a pain in the **** that its done it so new, but they should get this sorted for you ASAP.. kick up a fuss and see what happens.

I had similar issues on my skoda octavia VRS
