Facelift NEW RS3 Ordered

Just checked on Audi today and dates changed to the 26/03/18:yahoo:

Yeah price is overly expensive but would love them seat backs. Where can you get Alcantara done?

That bit I don’t know! I was thinking of giving it a go myself as it can’t be that hard to stick fabric to plastic, I’ve done stereo installs in the passed so I’ll see after it turns up. It’s more that the sat backs look like they can scratch really easily and by covering stops this.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to give an update on the progress of the build of the RS3.

Currently, the Build date is still 19/03/2018 but I noticed that my status has updated a few days ago.

Hopefully, it only takes 4/5 weeks till I see this beast!

How do you get the order status updates? I can only get the picture like on the left (profile pic):search:

I think it just means the different stages of the process of where the cars at.

Wow, that went quick! It is normal for an RS to be built in such a quick time? I had it in my head that it would be around 6 months +

I have no idea but my dealer said 4 weeks after the build date.

my build was originally on the 19/03/2018 but started today which I'm happy about :yahoo:

Hit status 40 this morning! It’s almost here:laughing:

You can fiddle with the badge things in your account settings. Stumbled acrosss it when I was sorting my account out.

I ordered mine mid Jan and received it just recently, so it took me 2 months.
 
Checked my status today and now it is currently at "22"

I was able to put my VIN number in the MyAudi App after 24hours after I got it.

Mine is showing the same as this. How do you get the VIN?
 
I am trying not to get to excited, But I got an email that mine, ordered back in the first week of November, might be at the dealer by the end of the month..it seems to have cleared quickly once in the country, just took forever to get to the country

I dont remember all the details, when I ordered it to be a feb delivery, this was almost immediately delayed until May - something about build dates for this model, not avail until Feb. then the big issue is all the transport, across the ocean and then the continent.

the build happened on the revised feb date and shipping has beaten the projected timeline by a wide margin.

the black badges look great

Mine was the same, should be here end of April starts building either this week or next.
 
You got a delivery date yet? Mine started building today ;-)
